Mitch Lazar Joins Taptu’s Board of Directors

Mitch LazarToday we’re thrilled to announce a fantastic addition to our Board of Directors.’a0 Mitch Lazar is probably a name you’ve already heard, and if not, you’ve probably had your head in the sand for the last decade or so :).

Mitch has a plethora of experience in the mobile industry.’a0 Most recently, he led Yahoo Mobile Europe and also pioneered mobile strategy at Time Warner’s CNN, Cartoon Network and TCM.’a0 In his two decades in the media industry, Mitch has a wide array of experience leading groups onto the mobile web.

Mitch comes on board at a crucial time for Taptu, as we aim to drive usage and discovery of the Mobile Touch Web.

Q: What is your favourite gadget now ?

The iPad.’a0 It’s incredibly intuitive and fun to use.’a0 My Blackberry Bold 9700 is a close second and tied with my iPhone.

Q: Coolest mobile idea/service?

The Blackberry.’a0 It’s simply brilliant because its simple and works great.’a0 Followed closely by the iPhone, integrated with the iTunes store.

iMode in Europe, Nokia NGage, Google Nexus One

Rarely.
