Nimbuzz Rockets to 1 Million Downloads on Ovi Store

NimbuzzGreat news for mobile instant messaging and Internet calling application Nimbuzz this morning.  Since the client debuted in Nokia’s Ovi Store, it has been downloaded more than 1 million times!  Also, the client is being used in more than 180 countries around the world.  That’s millions of users of the chat/voice client who are getting around high-priced text messaging plans and voice minutes.

For those unaware, Nimbuzz is a client that runs on many mobile phones including Nokia, iPhone, Android, and Palm that allows you access to many IM networks you already use.

The IM networks supported by Nimbuzz include: (Skype, Facebook, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, Google Talk (Orkut), ICQ, MySpace, and Gadu Gadu.
