I’m in the Portland Airport, en route to Barcelona, Spain for Nokia World 2008. I’m not quite sure what to expect from this event as I’ve been told it’s not necessarily a trade show but more an update for business partners and journalists to see what the company has been up to.

I’m very excited to meet some of my Nokia friends and contacts I’ve made over the last year. I’ll get to meet up with Darla Mack, Robert Scoble, Johnathan Greene, and Ricky Cadden, among others wile in Barcelona.

I’m a little nervous – this is my first trip overseas and I have no idea what to expect. I’m happy though that my first trip is to Spain because it’s a country I’ve always wanted to visit. Wish me luck!
