Thanks to some FCC filings, we now know some more details on the upcoming N85 from Nokia. The Finnish mobile handset maker is set to release the N85 featuring a quad-band HSDPA chip that will support the 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies. Also it will support WCDMA Band I/II(1900)/VIII for an alternative way to access the mobile Internet.
Having two models will be a boon to Nokia, a company who has yet to release a wide array of North American-specific models that utilize our radio bands for speedy 3G internet access.
Additional N85 features are set to include: Bluetooth, an FM transmitter, Wireless Lan (WiFi), and a decent 3.2 megapixel camera. For more information on the specifications, be sure to see their very nerdy specs page.
