Nokia N97 Announcement: Preloaded with Boingo, 90-Day Trial
While I was pursuing the Nokia press release regarding the Nokia N97, I came across an interesting snippit. Â We all know that Qik is coming pre-loaded on the N97, but so is the Boingo client!
Moreover, N97 purchasers will receive a free 3 month trial of the ubiquitous Wi-Fi network.
Not sure what Boingo is? Â Well, have you ever tried to log in to the Wi-Fi at an airport or Starbucks and are presented with the option to pay a fee to join it? Â With Boingo, you pay one monthly flat rate (plans start at $7.95/month) and can log in from 100,000+ locations around the world.
I am a huge fan of Boingo, as seen on this blog, and it being combined with the Nokia N97 is a good move on both companies’ parts.
